Harriet Peebles, age 63, of Savannah passed away Friday, February 13th, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of Elmore Sims and Mary Moody Sims. Mrs. Peebles attended Herschel V. Jenkins High School and then pursued a career in accounting for over 25 years.
Preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Elmore Rodney Sims, Jr., survivors include sisters, Lorraine Sims Austin of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeanette Sims Dunlap of Savannah and Nancy Sims Levins of Savannah; brother, Russell Sims (Dynva) of Rincon; nephews, Michael Austin, Thomas Levins, Brian Sims, Christopher Sims, Jeffrey Sims and Walter Massey Dunlap, IV (Gretchen); nieces Shelise Austin Simpson, Heather Sims Pardo and Renee Sims Grunfelder; numerous grandnieces and nephews, cousins and friends and Uncle, Charles David Moody of Savannah.
Funeral Services will be held graveside Friday, February 20th, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, with burial to follow.
